Job summary

AllianceHealth Durant • Madill is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, and mobility, while maintaining a clean, safe care environment.

You will document findings, support meals and hygiene, and follow infection control protocols. Training is provided, with emphasis on teamwork and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years acute care experience or currently enrolled in a Nursing program
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire
• CNA or CPCT preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Record and report vital signs and patient data to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with meals, bathing, oral care, grooming, and mobility.
• Support patient positioning, transfers, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform glucose monitoring as directed.
• Maintain infection control and use PPE appropriately.
• Participate in performance improvement and risk management activities.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
