Job summary

Endeavor Health's Patient Care Technician position in the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit at Highland Park Hospital seeks compassionate and dedicated caregivers. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient vitals, respond to call lights, and support nursing staff under supervision.

The role is part-time with an evening shift and rotating weekends, offering 24 hours per week. CNA preferred; BLS certification is required, and orientation will be provided.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• Completion of an accredited CNA training course preferred.
• Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider is required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answer call lights, answer phones, and assist within the facility.
• Assist in ambulation, safe patient handling, and transfers under RN/LPN supervision.
• Provide basic nursing care: bathing, grooming, oral care, feeding, bed making, and responding to patient needs.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfers including room orientation and patient transportation.
• Accurately document ADLs, vital signs, intake/output, and other patient care activities under direction of the nursing staff.
