Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician for the Cardiac Medical Telemetry unit at Highland Park Hospital. This part-time role includes a night shift with rotating weekends and a 20-hour work week, supporting nursing staff and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role involves ADLs, vital signs, documentation, and assisting with procedures under RN/LPN direction, with emphasis on compassionate patient care and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• CNA training preferred.
• 1 nursing clinical rotation in medical/surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answer call lights, answer phones and assist on the unit.
• Assist in ambulation, patient transfers, and use of Safe Patient Handling equipment.
• Provide basic nursing care including bathing, grooming, eating, and daily activities under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfers; orient patients to rooms and hospital procedures.
