The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides high-quality, patient-centered care by performing basic nursing functions and assisting with activities of daily living under RN supervision. The PCT helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, complies with hospital policies, and observes nursing regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
Preferred: CNA, LNA, EMT training, or Military Medic training.
Minimum: 1+ years of experience in acute care or as a military medic preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days or by end of orientation.
