Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician - Leukemia to support ambulatory leukemia services. The role offers clinical exposure and is ideal for those starting a nursing or healthcare career.

The PCT will assist nurses, transport patients, and handle supplies while helping maintain a safe, patient-centered environment in a 40-hour/week first-shift setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with required experience or nursing program matriculation.
• Experience in direct or indirect patient care is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

1. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time direct patient experience; or


2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a healthcare setting; or


3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time face-to-face customer service experience; or


4. Matriculation in a Nursing Program.

NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
