Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Experience as a PCA/PCT/NA/LPN/EMT or similar in hospital setting.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy and straight catheterization.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record.
• Assist RN with care of acutely ill patients and coordination of inpatient activities.
• Maintain patient and family privacy and uphold hospital policies.
• Participate in unit activities including admissions, discharges, and transfers.
