Job summary

Memorial Hermann is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) II to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include vital signs, hygiene, mobility, nutrition support, and accurate charting while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires at least one year of prior patient care experience in an acute care setting and a Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• One year of prior patient care experience (e.g. CNA/EMT/PCT) or similar role.
• Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association within 90 days of employment.
• Proficiency in Core Competencies of PCT I and II as outlined by Memorial Hermann Clinical Education.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Performs vital signs pre/post treatment and monitors patient condition.
• Assists with hygiene, toileting, mobility, nutrition, bathing, and ADLs.
