Qualifications

• Minimum six months of experience as a PCT, patient aide, geriatric nursing assistant, or currently enrolled in a nursing program with basic technician training. The Acute Float Pool Department requires at least two years of related experience.
• Certification by the Maryland Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant or higher nursing license. Annual CPR certification required. Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant certification required for long-term care roles (JHGC).
• Analytical skills to gather and interpret routine data.
• Ability to communicate effectively, schedule appointments, greet visitors, explain policies, and relay messages with courtesy and tact. Sensitive situations may be referred to others.

Salary Range

Minimum $20.49 per hour - Maximum $31.76 per hour. Compensation depends on experience and role scope.
