Allegheny Health Network in Erie, PA seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under RN supervision in an inpatient unit. You will document care in the EMR and help with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

Required: high school diploma or GED, ability to read/write, basic math, CPR certification, and 36 hours per week with 3×12-hr rotations (day/evening/overnight/weekend). Preferred: acute care exposure and enrollment in ASN/BSN programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Basic computer skills.
• CPR certification preferred or required per policy.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care and activities of daily living.
• Documents vital signs, I&O, weights, medications and treatments in the EMR.
• Participates in admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Assists with quality and patient safety initiatives and maintain a clean environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
