Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 weeks of training for limited or no experience.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• CPR certification for healthcare providers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides, documents or performs direct patient care and activities (ADLs, vital signs, ambulation, feeding, etc.).
• Participates in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives (bedside shift report, hourly rounding, safety, hygiene).
• Accurately documents vital signs, I&O, weights, and treatments; reports changes to nursing staff.
• Participates in unit activities (supply stocking, equipment cleaning).
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
