Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; training provided.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics and use a computer for documentation.
• Eligible to attend two weeks of training before assuming responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides and documents direct patient care including ADLs, vital signs, and mobilization.
• Collects specimens, monitors I&O, and performs basic point-of-care testing.
• Assists with meals, height/weight, bladder scans, and patient transport.
• Documents oxygen therapy and maintains patient records in EMR.
• Participates in safety, cleanliness, and unit activity initiatives.
