McLaren Health Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the care team within Michigan hospitals. Under supervision of the team leader and Registered Nurse, you’ll perform basic care tasks and assist with daily living activities to promote positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, wound care, dressing changes, and phlebotomy as directed. Applicants must complete a state-approved PCT program or hold a Michigan CNA license with phlebotomy training and must

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Complete a state-approved PCT program or hold a active CNA license plus Phlebotomy Training.
• BLS certification required prior to start date and valid at least 60 days beyond start date.

Responsabilités

• Cares for patients with basic clinical tasks and daily living activities.
• Obtains vital signs and performs dressing changes and wound care.
• Performs phlebotomy as directed and follows labeling and lab submission procedures.
• Documents care promptly and accurately; reports changes to the RN.
• Maintains infection control and safety procedures throughout care delivery.
