Baystate Health is hiring Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) and Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) for the Med/Surg units at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, MA. This role combines direct patient care with unit coordination and administrative support to help maintain smooth daily operations and high-quality care.

The positions offer Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem schedules with day, evening, and night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Strong communication with patients and healthcare teams; maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care, assisting with daily activities, mobility, hygiene and comfort.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition.
• Assist with patient safety, treatments, procedures, specimen collection, phlebotomy and EKGs as trained and authorized.
• Support unit operations through communication, coordination, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.
