Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
• Enrollment in a nursing program (preferred)
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collects and records patient data (vital signs, intake/output, etc.) and reports to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assists with activities of daily living: meals, bathing, grooming, mobility, and hygiene.
• Supports patients with positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Performs specimen collection and glucose monitoring per protocol, documents results.
• Communicates patient information effectively to the care team and adheres to safety protocols.
• Maintains infection control practices and PPE usage; participates in quality initiatives.
