Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision in an acute care setting. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient data, and help maintain a safe, organized environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with feeding, grooming, mobility, urine/stool collection, glucose monitoring, and accurate documentation. BCLS within 90 days, CNA or CPCT preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred.
• Basic knowledge of patient care practices and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care, performing delegated basic patient care services.
• Collects and records patient data including vital signs, intake/output, and calorie counts.
• Supports patients with meals, bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Maintains clean, safe environment and uses PPE per safety protocols.
• Communicates patient information to the care team and reports findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and complies with policies.
