Job summary

UPMC Western Maryland is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants/Patient Care Technicians to support our Clinical Resource Team. You will deliver routine patient care under RN/LPN direction, assist with daily living activities, and help ensure a safe, clean care environment for a diverse patient population.

Eligible candidates can receive a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 with a 2-year commitment and qualify for a 10% float pool differential.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistants/Patient Care Technicians provide routine patient care assisted by RN/LPN.
• Maintain CPR certification and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident/patient care including activities of daily living.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and restock supplies as needed.
• Respond to resident/patient needs and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Document actions in the medical record according to procedures.
• Assist with feeding and nourishment delivery as required.
• Take routine measurements such as weights and vital signs.
