Job summary

UPMC Western Maryland is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Observation Unit. You will support patient care and collaborate with RNs and LPNs in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to grow and develop.

This role requires rotating weekends and holidays; pay rate is based on experience, and a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available for eligible candidates with a 2-year commitment. Benefits are described during interview.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for assignment and view problems as challenges.
• Provide direct resident care including bathing, feeding, dressing, transporting, toileting, and ambulating residents.
• May apply, monitor and remove resident restraints as per physician or facility protocol and document in the medical record.
