Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is hiring a Patient Care Technician to bridge front-end and clinical operations. You will gather patient histories, take vital signs, perform phlebotomy if certified, and assist providers with exams and tests.

We offer a starting wage of $21.00 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) with company match, monthly performance bonuses, and opportunities for growth as we expand our locations.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role.
• Preferred experience in Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, and/or Phlebotomy.
• Ability to register patients in a timely manner using EMR.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history and obtain vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy for lab samples if certified.
• Complete paperwork for lab tests and orders.
• Perform point-of-care testing (strep, flu, glucose, etc.).
• Schedule and coordinate records for ancillary care.
• Assist providers with exams and testing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
