WellNow Urgent Care in the United States is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support front-to-clinical operations. The role involves taking histories, vital signs, phlebotomy when certified, and ensuring smooth patient flow within a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Starting at $19.00 per hour, with extensive benefits and ongoing education opportunities. This position emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and compassionate patient service in a growing network across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role.
• Preferred experience in Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, and/or Phlebotomy.
• Ability to identify equipment problems and notify the team leader.
• Computer literacy and ability to register patients in EMR.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history and obtain vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy if certified and handle lab tests.
• Complete lab paperwork and enter results in the EMR.
• Conduct point-of-care testing (strep, glucose, influenza, etc.).
• Coordinate medical records and scheduling with ancillary care.
• Assist providers during exams and testing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Keep exam rooms clean and stocked with supplies.
