Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is hiring a Patient Care Technician to join a growing urgent care network. You will be responsible for patient history, vital signs, phlebotomy if certified, and assisting providers with exams and testing in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ months of experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role.
• Preferred experience in Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, and/or Phlebotomy.
• Ability to register patients on the computer using EMR.
• CPR certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history and obtain vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy if certified.
• Complete lab paperwork and order entries in the EMR.
• Conduct point-of-care tests (strep, flu, glucose, UA, etc.).
• Schedule and coordinate records for ancillary care.
