Job summary

Ascension Via Christi in Wichita, KS seeks a part-time CNA for geriatric behavioral health to provide hands-on patient care under licensed staff. You will assist with movements, monitor conditions, and keep rooms clean and ready for use.

Two 12-hour night shifts per week with every-other-weekend rotation; BLS and CNA credentials required; HS diploma or GED accepted. Benefits include health coverage, 403(b), PTO, tuition support, and more.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Provide hands‑on assistance with basic patient care under the guidance of licensed nursing staff
• Support safe patient movement, transfers, and positioning
• Observe and report changes in patients' physical, emotional, or mental condition to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain clean, organized patient rooms and ensure medical equipment is properly cared for and ready for use
  

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  

Education

• High School Diploma or GED or an active CNA Certification required.
