Job summary

ORA Orthopedics in Bettendorf, IA is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide direct patient care under a Registered Nurse supervision. The role supports nursing staff and maintains a clean, safe environment in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent), plus completion of a CMA program (500/720 hours). BLS certification is required or obtained within 6 months. Lift requirements up to 50 lbs with assistance for heavier patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required or must be obtained within first 6 months of hire date.
• Completion of a 500/720-hour Certified Medical Assistant course.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and assist in lifting patients up to 300lbs.
• Standing and walking a minimum of 6 hours out of 8 hours.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication and computer skills.
