Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Certification in Basic Life Support required.
• Iowa mandatory reporter training completed prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Take and document vital signs including BP, temp, pulse, and respirations.
• Provide safe patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Maintain patient privacy and accurate, real-time documentation.
• Effectively communicate handoffs to patients, families, and staff.
• Organize daily work prioritizing patient needs and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and department areas.
• Identify and report safety concerns or unsafe conditions.
• Support quality improvement initiatives in practice.
