Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients to schedule, cancel, or reschedule physical therapy appointments.
• Verify and update patient demographic information and insurance details.
• Scan insurance and identification cards; verify insurance eligibility.
• Update patient accounts and handle related paperwork.
• Direct patients and answer questions; maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Prepare patient charts for upcoming appointments and assist coworkers daily.
