Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician in a full-time, first shift role within Ambulatory Services - Float Pool. You will work closely with nurses and therapists to support patients across the care journey.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time direct patient experience;
• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a healthcare setting;
• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time face-to-face customer service experience;
• Matriculation in a Nursing Program. NOTE: Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.

• Safely transport patients throughout the organization
• Pick up and deliver x rays, supplies, scans, mail, and other materials
• Support smooth and efficient patient flow within the clinic
