Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Nursing student who has completed one clinical rotation, or CNA, CMA, or EMT.
• CPR – Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated by an RN, including monitoring vital signs and documentation.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Reports changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Coordinates unit workflow with RN/charge nurse as needed.
• Handles communications with patients, families, and staff.
