Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL seeks a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under RN supervision. Shift rotations include day and evening hours with some weekends, at 24 hrs/week overall. Eligible applicants should have CNA training and BLS certification, with prior nursing assistant or customer service experience preferred.

Compensation includes hourly pay between $19.71 and $28.58, plus benefits and opportunities for annual increases. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S. with CNA training preferred
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification required
• 1 year of customer service or nursing assistant experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a RN to deliver patient care
• Assist with vital signs, 12-Lead EKG, bladder ultrasound, Foley catheter removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, glucose, feeding, admitting patients to room, preparing patients for discharge
• Assist with the implementation of a patient-specific care plan
• Participate in activities essential to the functioning of the patient care unit
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
