Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a certified nursing assistant to deliver patient care under RN supervision. The role involves vital signs, EKG, bladder ultrasound, catheter removal, sterile specimen collection, daily patient care, and discharge preparation.

The position requires CNA training, ability to work in the U.S., and BLS certification, with 1 year of customer service or nursing assistant experience preferred. Shift coverage includes early/late evenings and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) training course preferred, or completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical preferred
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider required
• 1 year of customer service preferred and/or prior nursing assistant experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Work under the supervision of a RN to deliver patient care
• Assist with Vital Signs (includes manual blood pressure)
• 12-Lead EKG
• Bladder Ultrasound
• Foley catheter and IV adapter removal
• Sterile specimen collection
• Bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding
• Blood glucose and feeding
• Admitting patients to room and preparing patients for discharge
• Assist with patient-specific care plan implementation
• Participate in activities essential to the patient care unit
• Contribute to safety outcomes and high quality patient experience
