Job summary

Endeavor Health's Evanston Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech for part-time schedules (24 hr/wk) with afternoon/evening hours (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm) and rotating weekends. You will assist RN staff with vital signs, EKGs, and daily patient care tasks to support safe, quality patient experiences.

Eligible to work in the U.S. with CNA training preferred or nursing rotations completed; BLS certification required. Prior customer service is a plus as you contribute to a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider required
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred
• CNA training preferred or nursing clinical rotation completed

Responsibilities

• Assist with Vital Signs (manual BP) and 12-Lead EKG
• Provide patient care under RN supervision including bathing, turning, ambulating, and feeding
• Assist with implementation of patient care plans and discharge prep
• Support safety and high-quality patient experience on the unit
• Participate in activities essential to unit functioning
