Job summary

The Little Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support daily patient flow and provide a stellar patient experience. Under supervision, you will handle administrative tasks, EHR documentation, and HIPAA-compliant interactions in a fast-paced clinic setting.

You will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, verify identities, collect payments, and log information in the EHR while upholding our values of respect, integrity, and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with strong administrative skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization and attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-based healthcare setting.
• Customer service experience and HIPAA awareness a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe, quality-based clinic environment and survey readiness.
• Greet patients and manage front desk activities; assist with registration and scheduling.
• Prepare examination rooms, handle cleaning and disinfection duties.
• Manage patient flow using queue tools and kiosks.
• Collect payments, verify identity, and record insurance information in the EHR.
• Enter patient history and vital signs; support transport to exam rooms as needed.
• Respond to inquiries, answer phones, and perform daily caller callbacks.
