Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech at Evanston Hospital. The role supports RNs by delivering patient care in a fast-paced unit during the 3:00 pm–11:30 pm shift, 32 hours per week with rotating weekends.

You will assist with vital signs, admissions, discharges, and daily activities while upholding safety and high-quality patient experiences. CNA training or clinical rotation in med/surg preferred; BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• CNA training or nursing clinical rotation in med/surgical preferred
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care under supervision of a RN
• Assist with vital signs, EKG, bladder ultrasound, Foley removal, IV adapters, specimen collection, bathing, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, glucose, feeding
• Assist with patient care plans and discharge preparation
• Contribute to safety outcomes and high quality patient experience
• Participate in unit activities essential to patient care
