Job summary

Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Nurse Aide I/II to assist with daily patient care on the Pineville Nursing unit. This full-time position (36 hours per week) involves helping with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, and keeping patient areas clean and safe.

Under RN supervision, you may work weekends/holidays and perform trained technical tasks (ECG, venipuncture) as needed. A HS diploma or GED and BLS are required, plus state Nurse Aide registry listing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the state Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I or Nurse Aide II.
• BLS certification required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with activities of daily living.
• Assists with personal hygiene and takes vital signs.
• Maintains patient rooms in clean and orderly condition.
• Observes and reports changes in patient conditions.
• Administers basic tasks such as a 12-lead ECG and venipuncture as trained.
• Performs clerical tasks and maintains medical records.
• Assists with inventory and stock items as needed.
