Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under RN supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, reporting observations, transporting supplies and maintaining patient comfort and safety.

The role requires High School diploma or GED, good communication and basic computer skills; BLS certification may be required within 45 days. This is an on-site position in Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or GED/HSED.
• Team members must maintain annual hospital certifications.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Measure and document vital signs and I&O in the EMR.
• Perform patient transport and setup; restock nursing stations.
• Observe and report changes to RN promptly.
• Maintain infection prevention and safety practices.
