Qualifications

• Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• High School diploma, GED, and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of one of the following: CNA, Medical Assistant or PCT program; or Fundamentals of Nursing program; or HMH PCT Apprenticeship; or equivalent medical background such as EMT, Home Health Aide, CMA, MA, PCT, Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on age and criteria, ensuring safe and effective outcomes.
• Communicate with patients and nursing staff about patient status and care.
• Assist with admission, assessment, procedures, and care planning; participate in PI activities.
• Support room preparation, patient comfort, hygiene, nourishment, and transport as needed.
• Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
