Job summary

Community Hospital South in Oklahoma City seeks a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to assist patients in Med-Surg/Rehab/ICU/ER units. You will perform basic care tasks and support clinical staff while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA/MA/AUA training or RN nursing courses, and BLS within 30 days of hire. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA/MA/AUA training preferred.
• One year clinical hospital experience or nursing assistant training is valued.
• BLS Healthcare required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients on Med-Surg/Rehab/ICU/ER units per policy and standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.
• Assist with daily living activities and basic clinical tasks as directed.
• Maintain equipment knowledge and patient safety throughout shifts.
