Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across age groups per criteria and directed by RN.
• Communicate with patients and nursing staff about patient status and care rendered.
• Assist with interdisciplinary plan of care from admission to discharge.
• Participate in Unit/Department Performance Improvement activities.
• Prepare patients for assessment, examinations, and procedures.
• Obtain clinical data and document findings; notify RN of abnormalities.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens with proper labeling.
• Perform EKGs and ensure equipment readiness and cleanliness.
• Assist with transport, meals, and daily activities.
• Adhere to organizational competencies and standards.
