Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• One of the following credentials is required: Georgia Nursing Assistant Certification, PCT program completion, or Basic Nursing Fundamental Course completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive personal care and assistance with activities of daily living under supervision.
• Maintain a safe environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Perform basic and selected advanced skills as directed by licensed professionals and validated by competency testing.
• May cross-train to serve as patient safety monitor or unit clerk as needed.

Education

Current Georgia Nursing Assistant Certification

Certificate of completion from an accredited Patient Care Technician (PCT) Program
