Job summary
Grady Health System is seeking a Nursing Support Technician (NST) to provide age-appropriate, compassionate patient care in inpatient settings under supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The NST assists with activities of daily living, maintains a safe environment, and may be cross-trained as a patient safety monitor or unit clerk, contributing to advocacy, teaching, and quality improvement.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One of: Georgia Nursing Assistant Certification, PCT program completion, or Basic Nursing Fundamentals course.
Responsibilities
- Provide age-appropriate personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and communicate effectively with patients and care teams.
- Perform delegated tasks and participate in advocacy, teaching, and performance improvement.
- May be cross-trained as a patient safety monitor or unit clerk.
