Qualifications

• CNA Certification or currently enrolled in nursing studies.
• CPR recognition by the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
• High school diploma required; some college or nursing education preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Registered Nurse in direct patient care activities.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor input/output for patients.
• Apply and monitor monitoring devices, collect specimens as directed.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and newborn care as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and respond to patient calls promptly.
• Follow policies and procedures, participate in quality improvement.
