Job summary

Qualifications

• CNA certification or currently enrolled in nursing program with basic clinical rotations.
• CPR/BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• Annual Health and Safety Training quizzes completed with at least 90% accuracy.
• Experience in patient care settings preferred with ability to relate to patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Takes and records vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure).
• Assists with daily patient care activities and hygiene.
• Transports patients and equipment as needed; responds to call lights promptly.
• Collects specimens and assists with basic procedures as directed.
• Prepares patient rooms and supports RN with assessments and care.
