Intermountain Health in Miles City, MT is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist the patient care team with routine nursing tasks and clerical duties as needed. You may also perform Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities and support the unit by maintaining supplies and documentation.

The role requires Montana CNA certification, BLS, and strong communication and computer skills. The position is on-site with a focus on safe patient handling and teamwork in a hospital environment.

Competenze

• Montana CNA certification is required.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy and written/verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen/clothing changes, fresh water and ice, ambulating and comfort measures.
• Report and record patient care findings promptly; monitor patient changes and seek help as needed.
• Transport medications from the delivery system to the RN and assist with unit operations as assigned.
• Collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective patient care.
