Job summary

Intermountain Health Logan Regional Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech and Health Unit Coordinator to support the patient care team. You will deliver basic patient care, assist with admissions and transfers, and provide courteous service to patients and families.

The role also involves documentation, unit coordination, and collaboration with RNs and providers. The position requires CNA certification, BLS, basic computer skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in the practicing state; renewal before start date if expired.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• Basic computer literacy with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Official transcript or course completion proof may be required for nursing prerequisites within the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care (bathing, toileting, linens, comfort) and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients and families.
• Document patient care findings and notify RN of changes in condition.
• Assist with telemetry duties as assigned and coordinate with the care team.
• Transcribe physician orders and act as unit receptionist as needed.
