Job summary

Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, WA is seeking patient care technicians for the Float Pool on a .9 FTE night shift. The role supports patients across Medical, Surgical, Orthopedics, Telemetry and Critical Care units with a strong emphasis on compassionate care and teamwork.

Qualifications include NA-C certification, CNA training completion, MA-R eligibility with sponsorship available, and CPR. Excellent communication and customer service are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a CNA Training Program or equivalent nursing training.
• 1+ year hospital CNA experience preferred.
• MA-R licensure required or sponsorship provided by Overlake.
• NA-C certification required.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills.

• Provide patient care and observations across units (Medical, Surgical, Orthopedics, Telemetry, Critical Care).

Hourly$25.95 - $38.38

This is a .9 FTE, 12-Hour,Night shift position (72 hours in a two-week work schedule, including every other weekend).

Float Pool PCT’s are highly flexible and provide care and/or observationfor a diverse patient population in various units, including Medical, Surgical, Orthopedics, Telemetry, and Critical Care. NA-C experience required, and hospital experience and/or nursing school experience strongly preferred. PCT's in the Float Pool enjoy regulartraining opportunities in a culture that recognizes professional growth anddevelopment.

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training experience.
• 1+ year working in a hospital environment as a CNA strongly preferred.
• Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) also required (Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure upon hire)
• Health Care Provider CPR Certification.
• One-year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity is preferred.
• Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills.
