Job summary

Tower Health's Phoenixville Hospital is seeking a nursing assistant to provide compassionate patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role involves direct patient care, vitals, basic hygiene, and support with daily living activities.

Job Summary

• Responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse.
• Perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of the patient.
• Perform observations of patients and reports changes in patient condition to the registered nurse.
• Perform specific skills including phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT).
• Assist in all aspects of daily living activities for the patients, including, but not limited to general hygiene of the patient, changings, light housekeeping, and patient vitals.
