Job summary

Tower Health in Phoenixville, PA seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging per protocol, assisting physicians and ensuring patient safety.

The role requires knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contrast administration, with emphasis on radiation safety, critical thinking, and ethical patient care. Shifts include full-time evenings/nights with on-call and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Post High School Diploma Program.
• BLS Certification required.
• ARRT CT certification (RT CT) or equivalent under ARRТ.
• Relevant experience in radiology or CT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician.
• Demonstrate understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Maintain knowledge in radiation protection and safety.
• Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with hospital policy.
• Apply critical thinking, professional and ethical judgment in the care delivered.

• Full Time Nights: Monday, Wednesday, Tuesday 7P-730A; on call and holiday rotation

• Performs CT imaging according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician.
• Demonstrate an understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Maintain knowledge in radiation protection and safety.
• Preparation and administration of contrast media is performed in accordance with hospital policy.
• The use of critical thinking, professional and ethical judgment is to be demonstrated in the quality of care delivered.
