Job summary

Tower Health's Pottstown Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and perform routine tasks following established policies.

The role includes basic clinical skills such as phlebotomy and point-of-care testing, with opportunities for growth through our Career Advancement Program and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior direct patient care experience preferred.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Perform routine direct patient care following policies to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition.
• Perform skills including phlebotomy and POCT.
• Assist with daily living activities and basic patient hygiene.

Job Summary

• Responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse.
• Perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of the patient.
• Perform observations of patients and reports changes in patient condition to the registered nurse.
• Perform specific skills including phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT).
• Assist in all aspects of daily living activities for the patients, including, but not limited to general hygiene of the patient, changings, light housekeeping, and patient vitals.
