Job summary

A regional healthcare system is looking for a Nursing Assistant responsible for providing nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, perform observations, and specific skills such as phlebotomy. Job Summary

• Responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse.
• Perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of the patient.
• Perform observations of patients and report changes in patient condition to the registered nurse.
• Perform specific skills including phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT).
• Assist in all aspects of daily living activities for the patients, including, but not limited to general hygiene of the patient, changes, light housekeeping, and patient vitals.
