Job summary

Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ, is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist with activities of daily living under RN/LPN supervision. The role is on-site, part-time, with a 2nd shift and 24 total weekly hours.

The position involves assisting with bathing, dressing, mobility, and personal care, performing vital signs, and supporting the health care team while maintaining high professional ethics and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must have basic patient care skills and standards.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Experience with vital signs; phlebotomy/EKGs nice to have if certified.

Responsibilities

• Supports activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assists with mobility, transport, and hygiene; follows isolation precautions.
• Performs vital signs, bladder scanning, and Foley care as directed.
• May assist with phlebotomy and EKGs where certified; notifies RN/LPN of changes.
• Reinforces patient education and participates in safety practices.
• Supports orientation of new hires and contributes to quality initiatives.
