Job summary

MUHA seeks a Patient Care Technician to support a decentralized, patient‑centered care model under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The PCT performs multi‑skilled tasks to help achieve desired patient outcomes.

The role is 36 hours weekly on a rotating 12‑hour shift, including weekends and holidays. Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent); CNA/CMA certification is preferred; BLS must be current within 2 weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required for PCT I.
• PCT II requires 24 hours/week or more and one of the listed requirements.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree or active enrollment in nursing/healthcare field.
• CNA or CMA certification from an accredited institution preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support decentralized patient-centered care under the supervision of an RN.
