Job summary

Ascension St John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK seeks a Part-time Night Shift Nursing Assistant to support basic patient care in the Surgical Nursing department. You will assist with patient movement, activities of daily living, and maintain a clean, safe patient environment under supervision.

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
• Assist with movement and placement of patients.
• Help patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Keep patient rooms clean and maintain medical equipment.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• Must exhibit long-term commitment capability, effective time management, humility, preoccupation with failure, and have effective collaboration and communication skills.
• 6:30p-7:00a night shift two shifts per week with opportunities for overtime, if desired. A minimum of 4 weekend shifts required.
